Neil graduated in Fine Art Painting from Maidstone College of Art before attending the Motley Theatre Design Course in London.

Neil has also won three TMA Awards for best design, been part of numerous Edinburgh Fringe First productions and has been awarded The Linbury Prize for Stage design and the Sir Alfred Munnings Florence Prize for Painting.
